Stella McCartney’s Spring / Summer 2011 Ad Campaign

   Remember how I mentioned that this Spring is all about the color orange?! Well, of all the designers, Stella McCartney’s Spring / Summer 2011 RTW campaign hits right on target. Featuring models Joan Smalls and Malgosia Bela, the two pose nude behind custom cutouts that have been layered on top of them. Of particular interest here, is Malgosia’s ad, in which she is standing literally behind oranges – well, a cutout of oranges, alongside herself wearing a citrus-print frock – earning Stella McCartney all the top creative points in my book as far as this season’s campaigns go!

   My only criticism – is Stella’s Spring 2011 Collection itself. Although I share her enthusiasm for the campaign, I must admit, I would have liked to see more originality in the clothes.
