A Look At Kristen Stewart’s Vogue February 2011 Cover Shoot

   If you are a Twilight + fashion fan, you will no doubt be very happy to hear that Kristen Stewart is Vogue’s Cover Girl for the February 2011 Issue. Teaming up with Proenza Schouler’s designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Kristen wore a selection of their Spring 2011 RTW designs for the shoot.

   At first I was a little uncertain over the selection of the dresses. While I appreciate the ‘feminine’ inspiration for Spring, I thought the neon-colored designs loaded with embroidery and ruffles to just not be Kristen. As Lazaro said, “she’s not like, lady”. Instead, her personal style is more jeans and a t-shirt casual, or darker glam if she’s on the red carpet.

   And I think, it was only once I took a closer look, that I could see this. The mixed in black and the almost gothic embroidery in the dresses does give off that ’darker’ vibe that caters to Kristen’s taste, making Proenza Schouler just right for her.
